The Public Center for Environment and Sustainable Development entered the 90 good deeds for Bulgaria. They will be presented in the digital calendar of good deeds “Christmas Miracles of Bulgaria” from today until December 20.
Everyone says that miracles happen at Christmas, but behind the miracles there are always people, communities, and civic organizations that show every day that they care. The website chudesata.bg has collected over 90 causes, events, and civic activities from different regions of the country. Every day, a “window” on the calendar will open to the world of goodness—as an invitation to participate and a concrete opportunity: to attend an event, support a cause, volunteer, or share the story and thus spread the word.
The calendar tells the story of moments from the daily work of dozens of civic organizations that support vulnerable groups, develop culture, protect nature, or organize volunteer actions. Because they care. Their efforts often remain invisible amid the big debates, but the truth is that these are the sustainable steps that make us feel better. The goal is to show people this power—not as an abstract concept, but as a daily practice.
Every day, visitors to the chudesata.bg website can discover new initiatives – how to help as volunteers, visit charity bazaars, participate in fundraising campaigns, educational events, actions in support of children and adults, and nature conservation activities. These include inspiring stories about people who are changing their environment through personal effort and dedication.
Although positioned during the holiday season, the campaign does not seek to create a one-time “Christmas emotion.” It draws attention to the consistent work of organizations and volunteers throughout the year and to the fact that kindness in our country is not an exception but something common.
Care, compassion, and solidarity are deeply human and continue to be part of our society, despite the noisy everyday life and negative news. With over 90 initiatives in 30 days, the campaign gives thousands of people the opportunity to get involved in their own way—with time, attention, or a gesture that can change someone’s day.
