It is with great joy that we mark the end of another successful year for our “Take back an empty perfume bottle and a book” initiative. In 2024, we continued to inspire people to participate in our campaign, encouraging them to get involved in recycling and sustainability.
During 48 Green Fridays, our site was visited by over 250 volunteers. Each of them contributed with their own effort – returning empty perfume bottles and exchanging them for books. This initiative not only combines an environmental mission with cultural value, but also creates a sense of community and belonging to a greater cause.
This year, we are completing our cycle at the recycling center, where our efforts will translate into real results. Thanks to everyone who participated, we were able to collect over 215 pounds of glass containers. Instead of going to landfill, this waste will be recycled and reused.
The “Take back an empty perfume bottle and a book” campaign is not only an environmental initiative, but also a call for each of us to take responsibility for the environment. Recycling is not just an act – it is a mindset that inspires change.
