The Varna Municipality is organizing its second campaign for the separate collection of hazardous waste in 2026. Residents of the municipality will have the opportunity to dispose of hazardous waste at a mobile collection point. The campaign will take place from June 25 to June 28 according to the following schedule:
Primorski District – 25.06.2026 (Thursday):
- 09:00 – 12:45 “Chataldzha” market, parking lot on “Tsar Asen” St.
- 13:45 – 17:30 “Vinitsa” neighborhood, opposite “Makao” supermarket, by the intersection with “Lambo Paskov”
Asparuhovo District – 26.06.2026 (Friday):
09:00 – 12:45 Market on “Moryashka” St.
Odessos District – 26.06.2026 (Friday):
13:45 – 17:30 “Lavrentiy” Square and “Kosta Tyulev” St.
Mladost District – 27.06.2026 (Saturday):
09:00 – 12:54 Parking lot next to the gas station on “Vyara” St., opposite block 138.
Vladislav Varnenchik District – 27.06.2026 (Saturday):
13:45 – 16:30 Parking lot next to “Supermarket 5”.
Odessos District – 28.06.2026 (Sunday):
09:00 – 16:30 Varna Municipality building, by the barrier near “Osmi Primorski Polk” Blvd.
Citizens will be able to dispose of the following types of waste free of charge:
- Lacquers and painting materials (paints, varnishes, polishes, solvents, glues, thinners);
- Household detergents and chemicals (cleaning agents, disinfectants, bleach, plant protection and pest control products, acids, bases, reagents);
- Inks and contaminated packaging;
- Pharmaceutical products (expired medications);
- Mercury-containing waste (mercury thermometers, fluorescent tubes, and similar items).
The activities for the separate collection, transportation, and subsequent recovery/disposal of hazardous household waste are carried out by “Ecosafe” Ltd., in accordance with a contract concluded with the Municipality of Varna.
