In front of the “Aquarium” Varna was held an event that attracted the attention of dozens of book lovers and reading – “Come bring a book and take another”. This was another edition of our initiative that encourages the exchange of books and cultivating the love of literature among the city’s residents. The event was held outdoors where the atmosphere was full of excitement and liveliness.
The idea of the initiative is simple but extremely effective – participants had to bring with them at least one book that they had already read and were willing to share with others. In return, they could choose another book from those available on site and thus enrich their personal library. This year the interest in the event was particularly high.
It was interesting to see how different age groups got involved in the initiative. There were young people looking for contemporary science fiction and fantasy, parents selecting books for their children, and seniors looking for classic novels or poetry. This shows how universal the love of books is and how literature can bring people together, regardless of their backgrounds and interests.

“Come bring a book and take another” not only encouraged the exchange of literature, but also created new acquaintances and connections among the participants. Many took the opportunity to discuss books, recommend titles and share their literary experiences with others. The event proved once again that such initiatives are extremely important for the cultural life of the city and are a great way to keep the interest in reading alive.
