The first discussion held as part of our summer project “Green Fridays for Youth” provided participants with the opportunity to engage in conversations and discussions on various topics related to recycling initiatives and waste reduction. The event was inspiring and informative, laying the groundwork for future actions and projects.

During the summer, young participants will have the chance to engage in a variety of environmental activities that will help them understand how we can create a cleaner and more sustainable world. They will learn different recycling approaches that are applicable in everyday life and contribute to waste reduction in their communities.

Darina Ivanova and Iliyan Iliev were the speakers at the discussion. They shared with the young participants the principles of the circular economy and zero waste, providing valuable tips and guidance for applying these principles in daily life.

The youth gained new knowledge and skills that will help them apply sustainability principles in their lives. One of the most exciting opportunities offered by the project is the chance to meet peers from other countries. This international interaction allows young agents to exchange ideas and experiences on sustainable development, broadening their horizons and inspiring them for future actions.

The project “Green Fridays for Youth” continues with a series of initiatives and activities throughout the summer, which will help participants become active agents of change and contribute to creating a more sustainable and green future.
