A family education and therapy center in Slovenia is looking for a male volunteer for a Day Care Center for people with mental health problems or a Day Care Center for children and young people.

The volunteer project called “Children in Action 7 – United in Solidarity” started at the end of August. The main idea is to involve 8 volunteers from different countries in the work of different organizations in the field of youth activities, social care and education in the area of ​​Skofja Loka, Slovenia.

7 volunteers from the Netherlands, Spain, Italy, the Czech Republic, Germany, Hungary and Russia have already been selected. Despite the current health situation in Europe, life is slowly returning to normal, so we are confident that we will be able to implement the project according to plan, says Matthias Vuk, project coordinator. But if necessary, the organizers are ready to postpone the start of activities.

The project “Improving public knowledge about the role of Civil Society Organizations” shall be implemented with the financial support of Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway under the EEA Financial Mechanism. The main goal of the project is to improve citizens’ awareness of the role of non-governmental organizations in society. This material is established with the financial support of the Active Citizens Fund of Bulgaria under the Financial Mechanism of the European Economic Area.
