On the occasion of the holiday of vine-growers and winegrowers – Trifon Zarezan, a specialized training on the proper pruning of fruit trees and vineyards was held. The host of the event was agronomist Kristiana Opreva, who shared her extensive experience and practical advice with all participants.

Different techniques, including formative, maintenance and rejuvenation pruning, and their application according to plant needs were discussed. The methodology of pruning is very important. Kristiana Opreva demonstrated when, how and with what tools pruning should be done to ensure healthy growth and good fruiting.

Stimulating growth and yield. Participants learned how properly applied techniques can improve production quality and extend plant life. Common mistakes were also addressed. The lecturer shared the most common mistakes that vine growers and fruit growers make and gave valuable tips on how to avoid them.

In addition to the theoretical knowledge, the participants gained a lot of practical activities. Participants had the opportunity to practice what they learned through demonstrations and exercises under the guidance of Kristiana Opreva.

The event ended in the spirit of tradition, with the participants celebrating Trifon Zarezan in good spirits and eager to put their new knowledge into practice.
