The participants in the campaign for separate paper collection “Leaf by Leaf” saved 254 trees from felling in the first half of 2020. 79 citizens, schools, state and municipal institutions and companies joined the campaign by the end of June. Despite Covid19, which virtually stopped the campaign in March and April, participants did not throw their waste paper in the trash, for which we thank them. Thus, “Leaf by Leaf” reported nearly 15 tons of waste paper over the past six months. Under the scheme “1 ton of recycled paper saves 17 trees from felling” we added another 254 saved trees to the global account.

Thank you all for your efforts! Without you, “Leaf by Leaf” would not have existed for the last 20 years. We realize this year of extraordinary events how much harder it is to participate in the process. We hope to reach the usual levels of previous years by the end of the year.
