EcoVarna joined the major initiative of Gorata.bg, within which 30,000 young trees of various species were distributed. The campaign drew enormous interest, with dozens of citizens eager to “plant new life” around their homes, in backyards, parks, and green spaces.
It is heartening to see more and more people realizing how vital trees are. They don’t just make our cities more beautiful—they improve air quality, provide shade, and offer a home to many animals and birds. Due to the high demand, some people were unable to get a sapling during the event. That is why we at EcoVarna want to provide another opportunity for people to obtain a tree to plant and nurture.
Anyone who visits our “Return an Empty Perfume Bottle, Take a Book” event, held every Friday, will be able to receive a young acacia or lilac in exchange for a small donation toward the organization’s activities. Our idea is to simultaneously encourage the recycling of empty perfume packaging, saving books, and planting more greenery.
We invite everyone who didn’t make it to participate in the small tree distribution campaign, as well as all nature lovers, to join us. Together we can make our city greener, cleaner, and more pleasant to live in.
