On the occasion of the International Day of the Black Sea on October 31st, the Public Center for Environment and Sustainable Development, the Tourist Society “Rodni Balkani” and the Sea Club “Friends of the Sea” organized a traditional cleaning of the beach around the Chernomorets hut. More than 70 active volunteers took part in cleaning the beach and the forest. The waste collected consisted mainly of metal cans and plastic bottles – sure proof of human waste.
We would like to extend our special thanks to Volen Georgiev Valkov, whose donation helped to provide transport for this year’s participants. If you would like to support us, you can make a donation to a cause or project here.
