On the last day of her volunteer service, Giulia Di Marco took part in the traditional beach clean-up on the occasion of 31 October “International Black Sea Day” Together with more than 70 other people they managed to collect more than 200 bags of rubbish in a few hours. Starting tomorrow, Giulia heads back to her native Italy to look for future employment. We wish Julia the best of luck in her future plans. Giulia is a 24 international volunteer who has worked for the Public Centre for Environment and Sustainable Development. She was in Bulgaria on a European Solidarity Corps project.

The European Solidarity Corps is an initiative of the European Union that enables young people to volunteer or work on projects in their country or abroad, making a difference to communities and people in Europe.
